The company started in 2003 as the exclusive Project Construction Manager of one of the prestigious real estate companies in Davao City. It was registered as “Transdev Management and Design Services.” The first project engaged by Transdev was the First Mindanao Industrial Park now known as First Mindanao Business Park (FMBP) located in Mandug, Buhangin District, Davao City. The design phase started in 2003 and the construction of Phase 1 FMBP land development commenced in 2005 together with the Lapanday Box Plant. Both projects were completed in 2007.

In 2010, the founder, Marcelina Gurrea Supsup, transferred to Manila and a new company was formed known as “1237 Gridline Inc.” The name refers to the four (4) young architects who made it to the Top 10 of the Architects Licensure Exam. The numbers 1237 are their placements in the board exam and whom led the operations offering services in architectural design as well as design and build projects such as warehouses and residential buildings, and construction project management. After sometime, the company has decided to split according to specialization.

In 2014, the design group opened a new company named “Grid Asia”, catering mainly on design of medium rise buildings, and ID Fit-Out of offices and commercial buildings. The other group formed a new company, now known as “Gridlines MGS Construction and Project Management Inc.”

Gridlines MGS Construction and Project Management Inc. is a corporation registered in 2016, which focuses on specialized services in Construction Project Management such as but not limited to: Project Management, Design Management, Procurement Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying and Construction Management.
